For Owners

See what your project report would look like

Most owners find out how a contractor communicates after the contract is signed. This page lets you see it first: choose what you want to hear about and how often, and look at the report you would receive.

The problem

Project management systems send hundreds of notifications, but only a few require your attention.

Every RFI, submittal, ASI, drawing update and meeting produces an email, and the ones that need you blend in with the ones that don’t. Our system sorts it for you.

What a report holds

Daily, weekly or monthly, in the order you want it

Choose the components and what comes first. Each report is generated from the project’s own record, so the information is accurate and exactly what you are looking for.

  1. 01

    Decisions and concerns

The decisions that are yours, each with the date it is needed by, and the risks to cost or schedule with our recommendation.

  2. 02

    Photographs

The week on site, captioned, so you can see the visual progress.

  3. 03

    Narrative and manpower

What got done, how many people were on the job each day, and what is next.

  4. 04

    Safety

How our safety prevention program is running on your job, and anything else on safety you should know this week.

  5. 05

    Schedule

On track or off track, the milestones and how much time is left in the project.

  6. 06

    RFIs and submittals

Open items in priority order, with the ones that are overdue or holding up the schedule at the top.

  7. 07

    Payment application

Where the current application stands, what is outstanding, and the contract summary.

  8. 08

    Open change orders

Each one with its status and who it is waiting on, and the allowances and contingency used and remaining.

Every monthly report shows the forecast completion date against the contract date and last month’s forecast, even when it has moved.

Ask a question

Ask about your project the way you would ask a person

Ask about your project

What do I need to decide this week?

Two items need you this week. The bar top stone has to be approved by Wednesday to hold its fabrication slot, and RFI 041 on the ceiling height at the back corridor needs your architect’s answer by Friday or the framing on that side stops.

SourceSubmittal log and RFI log, sample project

Which RFIs are overdue?

One. RFI 038, the floor drain location at the bar, is three days overdue with the kitchen designer.

SourceRFI log, sample project

How many days are left?

61 days to substantial completion. Kitchen equipment is a week late, and it is absorbed before the health department final.

SourceSchedule, sample project

Who was on site yesterday?

16 workers across five trades: framing and drywall 4, electrical 4, plumbing 3, mechanical 3 and tile 2. Plumbing rough-in at the bar passed inspection.

On your project you type the question yourself. Here, choose one of the four above, or see the sample report.

On a live project, the answer comes from that project’s own record, and a builder stands behind what it says.

The rest of the job

Reporting is one part of how we run a project

When something comes up between reports, you hear it from us directly, with a recommendation and the date a decision is needed by.

Start with a conversation

Let’s talk about your project

Tell us what you are planning, where the design stands and the date you are working toward. We will call to talk it through.
